It's a girl!!!
We had our ultrasound this morning and the ultrasound tech said she is quite sure it is a girl. We are soooo excited! Looks like we'll need some more baby clothes with a little less blue and a little more pink. The ultrasound hasn't been reviewed by a doctor yet so we don't know any final news on any possible health concerns but the ultrasound tech didn't see anything out of the ordinary. We saw a beating heart and two cute little arms and legs and the spinal cord looked good too. Now we need to decide on a good girl name, any suggestions?
More fun at the Dells
Trip to the Wisconsin Dells
We had a lot of fun at the Dells during Andy's spring break. The indoor water parks are huge with lots of fun kiddie play areas, water slides, and tube rides for all ages.
Tyler's all time favorite was the wave pool. He liked to sit on mom's feet to help him stay up in the tube.
This is another wave pool that had huge waves! We found a tube with a sealed bottom so Ty could sit right in it and ride the waves.
We spoiled Tyler the whole week of our trip starting with a huge ice cream cone.
This place is so family friendly, they even have mini lawn chairs.

Heading to "the Dells"!
We are excited to be going to the Wisconsin Dells for all of next week. What is "the Dells," you ask? Here is some info:
"Wisconsin Dells is a city located in south-central Wisconsin... As of the 2000 census, the city population was 2,418... 'The Dells' (is) a popular Midwestern tourist destination boasting an estimated 3 million annual visitors".
"It's called Vacation Concentrate. Don't bother to add water. If a steamy, miles-long, cheese-dense strip of motels, tourist traps, and singular attractions sounds like a fever dream one can only sweat out in central Florida -- think again. You can join three million leisure thrill-seekers, as we did, who jostle for a parking space and a motel room in Lake Delton/Wisconsin Dells every year. It's one of America's most amazing Tourism Meccas. "

"SUVs with giddy families primed for a weekend of water slides and lazy rivers clog the exit ramps. Nothing unusual there. This is, after all, the famous summer resort, Wisconsin Dells.
What is unusual is that it's February. And it's snowing. And it's 23 below with the wind chill factor.
What are these people doing toting their bathing suits, swimming goggles, and ice scrapers? They're joining the indoor water park phenomenon that has transformed the Dells and altered the way travelers think about--and when they take--their vacations.
With about 20 hotels now luring guests to jump into their pools during what used to be the off-season, Wisconsin Dells is the world's chlorination capital. We're not talking about a Jacuzzi and a couple of floats tossed into a pool. The features vary from property to property, but some of the bigger resorts boast indoor water attractions that rival most outdoor water parks."

Which resort are we going to? Read the following:
"The Wilderness Resort, with 160,000 square feet of slides and rides in total, is among the nation's largest indoor facilities... Wilderness attractions include The Surge, an interactive wave pool with water blasters and depth charges, and Fantastic Voyage, a 500-foot, five-person raft ride. At Klondike Kavern, a separately themed park in the Wilderness complex, a 600-foot lazy river surrounds Gold Mine Mountain, a five-story tall water play structure. Two 500-foot slides send daredevils careening around the building's rafters."

We'll take lots of photos and post them for ya'll when we get back!!

Tyler's first tie!
Tyler's new bed!
Tyler helps Daddy put together his new "big boy" bed. Exciting!
Tyler shows off his new bed! He is no longer a baby, and babies sleep in cribs (this is what we told him to convince him to switch). So far, so-so. He has made it through one night pretty well, but no naps for the last two days. We're working on it. These lovely sheets were hand-picked by the boy himself!
Acting out "Blues Clues"
Tyler spends most of his day acting out parts of "Blues Clues" word for word. I have another video of him singing "We just got a letter" but decided not to post it (too long).
