Christmas Day 2009

Nothing too fancy this year- we opened presents, played with presents, and had Christmas dinner. I roasted a Chicken (the Turkey's were just too big) and made all the trimmings... mashed potatoes, gravy, and homemade stuffing (not stovetop!). Poor Andy got called to work in the morning just after the gifts were open and got home just in time for dinner so he was gone most the day. It was a bit lonely spending Christmas with just me and the kids but it was also a nice quiet low-key day. Tyler got a nerf gun that shoots suction cups and a baseball mitt. Lizzy got a bunch of Disney Princess stuff and a tricycle.

The kids thought it was so cool to drink from our "fancy goblets"

I LOVE your new header photo! That was such a fun day... even if Tyler wasn't too peachy-keen on the whole tubing thing. It's an awesome family photo. We miss you guys so seeing these photos is a treat!

And poor Zach - did Santa forget about him altogether?

Funny story, that header picture is not really a picture. I photoshopped everyone together. I was planning on having a sort of floating headshot of each family member wearing a snow hat but randomly decided to mesh everyone together. Then, it actually looked like we were standing next to eachother!

I love the photoshopped header photo! You did a good job with that, Amanda. Glad you had such a nice Christmas, even though Andy missed some of it. Hope all is well with you all (y'all!) now. We should talk again soon! XOXOX
