Memory Tag

My sister-in-law Emily put this on her blog and it sounded like fun so I'll play too....

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I have too many memories to count... but we have awesome memories of our trip to visit the Hansen family last summer. We spent a fantastic week in Chicago and Wisconsin! We wish we were coming this summer too! I guess we'll just have to make
SLC memories... starting tomorrow! See you then!

Oh, what memory do I choose...
Emily reminded me of you and Lisa dancing the entire Little Buttercup dance from three amigos which makes me think of dancing the polka. Why did we do that? But mostly, I would love to share the memory of sweet, even tempered Amanda atacking me with her best Karate Kid Kicks. I promise it is true, Amanda tried to hurt her older sister (who I am sure deserved it by the way). Every time I picture her coming after me, her arms out for balance, standing on one foot; I can't help but laugh. I love you Mand.

Dear Amanda,

This is Andy's aunt, Nancy. One of my favorite memories of you is on your wedding night. We showed up late (a long story), and it was already dark and your line was done. There were twinkly white lights, and I saw you and Andy dancing together. The look of love you had in your eyes for Andy filled my heart with pure joy. I was so happy that Andy had someone who loved him so much. Then, as you danced, you turned so I could see the look of his love for you. Love like that is a miracle, don't you think so? I hope you are able to read this message ... I went back from the beginning to read your blogs, and I'm catching up on you and your adorable family.

Love,

Nancy
